Lil Biv Records is an independent record label established in 1998 by rap artist and CEO, Big Gipp. Big Gipp is part of and former leader of the popular Southern hip hop group Goodie Mob and has produced a discography of nine original albums since the label’s inception. History Big Gipp founded Lil Biv Records and his own clothing line, B.H.U.G (Black, Hot, Underground and Gifted) in 1998. The record label’s debut album, Big Gipp's Mutant Mindframe (1998), featured production from Goodie Mob member Cee-Lo Green, Outkast producers Organized Noize and various other Atlanta-based producers. The album's first single, "Steppin' Out", was co-produced by Dallas Austin and received considerable airplay on rap radio. However, the album failed to garner strong sales and had relatively few mainstream successes. The label's second release, Sleepy Brown's 1999 album For the Grown and Sexy, experienced moderate success with its first single, "I Can't Wait". The song was remixed with vocals by Lauryn Hill and featured on the Rush Hour soundtrack, which also helped the album receive more attention and become the label's most successful release. Lil Biv Records released its third album, Big Gipp's 2001 offering, Mutant Melodies, with production from Sleepy Brown, Justin Bieber producer Polow da Don, Chris Carmouche, and ClanDestine. The album featured guest appearances from Goodie Mob and Outkast members, Sleepy Brown and Noah “40” Shebib. Despite being generally well received amongst fans and critics, the album was not a commercial success. In 2005, the label released rapper Nappy Roots' 2002 album Watermelon, Chicken & Gritz, as a part of their "Southern Fried Classics" series. The album included contributions from Big Gipp and Sleepy Brown, as well as production from Organized Noize and the Neptunes. In 2008, the label released Big Gipp's fifth album, Moments in songs and a mixtape entitled The Preface via digital download, with singles like "Freak" featuring Kandi. In 2013 Big Gipp launched a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo to help finance his new album, titled Zagga and released in 2014. The 18-track album is credited to Big Gipp as executive producer and paid homage to the underground Atlanta hip hop scene. Portal version 2.13 by TonyMellor Portal 2.13 is an update to Portal, an open source content management system (CMS) written in PHP. The update was released in March 2006, and was developed by UK-based TonyMellor, an independent web developer.
